My name is Salim Juma, 29 years of age and currently living in Githurai 44 ward, Roysambu subcounty. I’m a community health worker, gender Equality champion, peer educator & sexual reproductive Health advocate since the year 2015. I have good facilitation skills, I’m a team leader and I enjoy working with  the youth and community based organizations.  I’m currently  a volunteer at an organization based in Githurai  called Link empowerment initiative  where my  responsibilities are executing the group’s activities. These includes; community mobilization, creating awareness, conducting and facilitating peer education, planning and organizing events and identifying those in need of our services especially the GBV department. Having experience of more than five years, I have been able to tackle and report a number of GBV related cases. I am passionate about my job and would love to continue serving the community in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
