Since 2016, OAY has been engaged in the International Conference on Population and Development processes, including the Nairobi ICPD 25 Summit in 2019. International Conference for Population and Development (ICPD)

01 Summary

Advocacy’ project with the support of IPPF. Currently, OAY is Vice Chair of the ICPD Youth Coalition that it co-established after 2019 Nairobi Summit together with other organizations with the support of UNFPA and NCPD.

04 Impacts

Deepening Youth Engagement in South-South Cooperation- that ICPD Youth Coalition, uses as an opportunity to learn, align our strategies and explore how youth-led innovations can be included in SSC efforts.
Collaborate with NCPD: to strengthen the Youth Voice and to mainstream youth engagements in programming and learning exchanges.
Regional Youth forums: Hosting over 10 youth regional forums on population and development.
