THE ENGAGEMENT OF ADOLESCENTS AND YOUTH THROUGH POLICY ADVOCACY CAN BE AN EFFECTIVE ADVOCACY APPROACH FOR ADVANCING SOCIAL, ECONOMIC, POLITICAL, OR PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUES.

Main Objective

Strengthen capacity of two county AY female and male youth advocates on MAYE social accountability and SMART advocacy in RMNCAH+N

Specific Objectives

Train advocates on the Reproductive health policies; policy formulation, implementation, monitoring and review processes at global, regional, national and county levels.

Identify opportunities or spaces that can support MAYE in RMNCAH+N policy processes at the national and subnational level within decentralized systems.

Gain practical lessons in identifying AYSRH policy related issues (pulled from the assessment findings) that can be used as advocacy issues to influence government policies, programs commitments that translate into programs and services for intended benefits on adolescent, youth health and wellbeing.
